Can you please tell me how much blood loss causes death in Epidural hematoma? I mean how much blood loss (in ml) is considered to be life threatening in EDH?

Excuse-me, sir. Can I ask a question? Why the patient with epidural haematoma has lucid interval? what is the exactly mechanism?

Dear Do Re, Thank you for your interest in our video. The initial unconsciousness is thought to be from the initial trauma to the head. After the concussion starts to resolve, the patient is lucid until the clot grows to the point to produce compression of the brain and loses consciousness once again. Best regards.
