A quick look at the week I spent during orientation with EPIK. Learning about becoming an ESL teacher and learning how to teach in Korea. Loved our hotel, loved making new friends, and loved all the delicious food.
We were well taken care of. It was a great week and a great start to our new life in Korea.

Who comes to pick you up? Or do you have to make your own way to your placement? Did you meet anyone with a dependent (spouse or child)? How did they handle the last day?

EPIK organizes all transport until the day you meet your co-teacher and move into your apartment. Your co-teacher will then be in charge of taking you there. I haven't met anyone with a child during my intake, but there were a few couples and they were able to live together in one apartment, if that answers your question.
