Hello , I'm from India and I am currently pursuing my economics degree which will be completed in 2021 . I want to apply for the EPIK program (2021)And as India is not included in those 7 countries but India has a CEPA Agreement with Korea , which obviously you'll be aware of. I wanted to ask if I have any chances to be selected in the EPIK PROGRAM?( Soon completing my TEFL COURSE) ( Fluent in English and in Korean)
Unfortunately EPIK only hired from those 7 countries 😔 you might be able to apply to hagwons (also known as academies) which are private school institutions in South Korea. It is worth looking into because EPIK is run by the government and hires for the public school system
@@ashersambitions9166 Thank you for replying ☺️. Sorry to bother u again but doesn't the CEPA Agreement mention that Indian's are eligible to apply for EPIK? And if not EPIK then how do I contact the Hagwons? Please reply.
Sry to interrupt u guys.. bt anyone pls tell me the right information.. I've seen that through CEPA agreement Indians r eligible to be an EPIK teacher. If u hold a teaching licence. I've dn masters in English and now doing my b.ed training side by side also learning korean. Let's hope for d best🤞
There are programs in other countries that would accept people outside those 7 countries but I think most schools in Korea have that rule for TEFL teachers. Some other countries may also not require a university degree
