Thank you my husband just had this surgery done yesterday to repair this epi retinal membrane you gave a very clear and concise explanation of the condition, how to treat, and how long it takes to restore the best vision post procedure

Appreciated information! My OD had told me the wrinkle tissue was causing the distortion and didn’t explain that it would be advisable to get surgery sooner than later. She may have felt I was apprehensive about surgery? My retina surgeon did explain as you but you’re explanations were more comprehensive. Thank you.

Very informative thank you, but I was told by my ophthalmologist that surgery is optional and another ophthalmologist that it is a matter of some urgency, I’m a little confused by this.

When the vitrius gel is removed whit wat is the eye is refilted : oil, gas or what ? Oil requires to be removed afterwards while floaters can be the result ?
