When he was 20, he became one of the members of the first professional heliported brigade and two years later he co-created the Proteção Civil Special Force. In 2011 he started a new path in the analysis of fires and its integration in the environment. He is now the number 3 in the National Operations Systems of Portugal. Meet Fábio Silva, Civil Protection Operations Assistant in Portugal. 🔥 Descendant of a family of firefighters, he started his activity at the age of 14, as a volunteer firefighter. At the age of 20, he was part of the first professional helicopter brigades in Portugal and two years later he co-created the Civil Protection Special Force.
