If they are the Blue Box I am thinking of, they also made a range of zoo and farm animals, stamped "Made in Hong Kong" and often bearing a great similarity to Britains toys

Absolutely! It's one of those lines where I'd love to see the prototypes and deign sketches that didn't go to production. I'm sure there would have been some wild things that just weren't financially viable.

Great video highlighting a very obscure and extremely rare line especially here in the US👏! Androform robots much like Kinsman bots had a VERY small distribution here.I believe Pic N Save carried them(Theres an Ad online I believe)These type of vintage offbrand and bootleg transforming toy lines are so fascinating for some of us collectors! Thank you!🤖

It's very much the feeling behind the tongue in cheek, 'screw the Transformers'. TFs are great, however often the 'big lines' don't get those one or two real gems of robots that came out of the need to innovate to grab attention.
