Thanks for all you two share💕. We're doing the wedding ourselves to help save on the budget. Brides mother gifting venue and reception decor. My sisters(2), daughters(2), sister of groom and neices(3) are decorating the venue. Ceremony is 5 in the evening and we are allowed to set up the evening before(blessing). Groom mom is gifting the dinner, she's a caterer so she's doing the cake(she didn't truth anyone else 😊)and her "staff" are serving buffet style dinner(I have 2 nephews who will assist by serving the parents and grandparents as well as the wedding party which consists of the neices and nephews who are the only children invited). I am entrusting the day of coordinating to a trusted friend who does this as a side hustle. I learned from my other daughter's wedding do NOT try to do it all(at least i do have help from the groom's family this time😊).
How the heII did my boss learn to establish and work great receptions, if she's never even had one for herself? Her experience, knowledge and skills as an UNmarried woman is so ironic.
