Thank you, Brenda Wilton, founder of Authored Apparel. You deserve great praise for meeting a need that quickly becomes obvious to first-time caregivers. Dressing my mother in her 90s became a much bigger challenge than I had expected. Her mind was willing to accept help, but her body didn't cooperate. There was too much standing and sitting and being off balance. Lifting her arms upward or bending them backward to fit into a sweater or shirt was painful. I often felt frustrated and inadequate to the task. The adaptive clothing that Brenda designs would have made dressing a much more dignified and successful process for both of us.
