BTS knew months in advance that their appearance on the Late Late Show was going to be shown on the same date as the Grammy nominations. I believe this is why they saved the best version (so far; knowing them it may well be topped by their next one 😆). They always strive for, and deliver, exceptional performances but I think the Grammy nomination announcement day is the reason this particular staging is truly next level

It's amazing what BigHit was able to do with this performance! They recreated James Corden's set. The stadium & fireworks performance was for the AMAs ☺️🎶 but that's not on RU-vid anymore; only their stage focus cam is on YT. You can watch their performance on the ABC website. P.S. You watched the right one! James Corden tweeted that he was so moved by all the trouble they took to recreate the LLS stage for this performance. He hadn’t expected it! BTS and BigHit do not stint on production, especially when they have an affectionate relationship with the host. Jimin rightfully took on the host’s role as he is Baby Mochi and James Corden is known as Papa Mochi, since their carpool karaoke... thought I’d throw that information in. 😄

I love the story it told. From learning about covid-19 to the emotional struggle of being sad about quarantine and getting ready for Christmas then getting to the airport and flying to the US and even re-creating the set of the Late Late show. Bangtan are master storytellers. The one with the Jamsil stadium and fireworks was the AMAs.

Thank you guys! ❤️💜 But No, they actually built a replicate of his set. I mean it is like a story. My interpretation is this: starts with hard times of Covid, with the depression or down feelings, then seasons changing (hence the tree not decorated, then covered) then rain. So, then it seems they accepted the situation for what it is and decided to appreciate the time together but seasons continue. Hence the tree decorated and uncovered. Then the gifts and smiles. Then like Life Goes On lyrics -- they show the future. What they can not wait for! After the holidays (maybe long after) but after and they travel finally to America. They get on the plane, the get off and get to perform with Papa Mochi (James) in front of a live audience. Hear the cheers? And that is the future they want to get to. To me that is what it mean in terms of story telling. Also, that is what it means in terms of book ending the album with Life Goes On and then Dynamite. The songs in the middle are all the other stages. Anyway--- that is my idea. I still can not believe they actually recreated the set and James Corden said they were almost in tears to the details the group went to to honor them. Very cool. This is by far my favorite performance -- even over the fireworks. LOL they are are on another performance. When you think of the production quality and details they went to BEFORE Suga even went into surgery - it is insane. As they passed through the rooms and you see the the room behind - representing the seasons that have passed and the time -- with water on the floor with RM -- it is just not being done like that. Sorry so long but I love this staging if you couldn't tell. :) Thank you for your reactions!

That plane is the private jet they use on tour. Their ready to go even if the worlds is not. I love you guys. They were on set they reconstructed it. That’s how go they are.

I really love BTS’ storytelling in this performance. It’s amazing. The rooms represent the months and seasons that have passed and varying emotions in lockdown (can’t believe it’s almost been a year!)- -that’s why it’s raining/snowing in RM, Suga, JHope’s scenes. RM’s verses starts “It looks like rain again today-I’m soaked to the bone”. In the beginning scene they’ve had to cancel/postpone their tour right after the New Year, then they’re going through the emotions of lockdown and adjusting to the circumstances. Towards the end they’re trying on their concert clothes from the cancelled tour and hoping to perform live again, but the door still keeps closing on them (as I think it represents the continuous ‘C19 2nd wave’ as we lockdown again), but Jungkook in final scene decides to keep his tour outfit on as he waits and knows the day will come when they’ll be able to go on tour again. Then cut to part 2/Dynamite...a premonition of when travel bans lift and they travel to perform LIVE again as....“life goes on!” ;))) BTS, and especially Suga, has been known to predict the future and so many of their verbal manifestations have come true lol!

Jimin on the set of James Corden Show is a personal friendly joke between him and the show host. During their recording of the Carpool Karaoke with James Corden both Jimin and James joked they were respectively Baby Mochi and Papa Mochi. That's why in this Dynamite performance, Jimin is "replacing" his dad on the set of James Corden show. During the interview for last week's segment, Corden also said he was particularly proud of the success of "his Baby Mochi"

The stadium and fireworks were at the AMA performance. They were at the Olympic Stadium. And yes, BTS hasn't left South Korea, they recreated LLS set but the airport and airplane scene is actually at the airport.

They recreated the Corden set. They used Jamsil Stadium in Seoul for their AMA performance. They did Life Goes Of first, then Dynamite. If you watch the right version, there are fireworks during Dynamite. :p

The performance with stadium and fireworks was for the AMA's. The ABC broadcast network has taken down all original videos of that performance, except for the full AMA's on ABC. On BTS's BangtanTV YT channel, there are stage cams of the two songs for the AMA's. You will see mobile cameras running on their tracks at the foot of the stage, and for one song, drones. You will see some of the lighting and some of the fireworks. But the full effect can only be seen by watching the AMA's. There is one RU-vid reactor whose reaction to the two songs still stood a couple of days ago. I'm not sure if ABC has found and killed it yet, or not. However. You can check yourselves. The reactor is MrSammyCam.

BTS has an endorsement deal with Korean airlines. My sister-in-law took a Korean airlines flight to Indonesia last year and BTS did the safety video for that flight. She said it was the only flight she’s ever been on that people were dancing in the aisles during the safety video. 😂

*KOREAN AIR (not k stream air) Also I see it as if it's going through time from reading about the pandemic in the paper and then all the way to being able to travel and perform again. The rain in RM's part you would have gotten if you had watched the official MV for LGO with the CC on, it's in the lyrics in his part. (have the cc on on mv's even if you don't read it you'll catch some and get the mv beter and then also these performances) If you watch James Cordens Carpool karaoke with BTS you see where the nicknames "papa mochi" and "baby mochi" comes from and get why Jimin took James place at the desk.

Thanks for reacting to this. This was not the "wrong" video, they are all good :-) Buuuuut, the AMA performance as broadcasted is the one you want to watch. You watched the BantanBomb version, which is their personal camera and not the production version, so it doesn't cut away and all, it is just a straight on shot, so you missed the fireworks when you did the BangtanBomb version.... so even if you don't do a reaction (but I hope you do share with us cause I am greedy that way) I would highly recommend the production view version of the AMA performance. It shows the full stadium from aerial shots and lets you see where they were supposed to kick off the world tour this year. THANK YOU!

Here's the link for the Dynamite performance with the fireworks, but we definitely wanted you guys to watch this performance as well. For when you go back to the earlier songs (and hopefully work forward), it might help to watch the MVs, lyrics videos and dance practices/live performances rather than every performance for each song. Don't want you to get burnt out, plus they do a lot of performances for their main songs. I have watched a few of your reaction videos now and its great to see how you react and adjust to the boys and their songs. The constant pausing I am getting use to.....LOL. If you are confused about the boys personalities as you were saying about Jhope & Suga, their actions and vocals make alot more sense when you watch funny moments or Run BTS episodes, they are the same on camera regardless if its on stage, funny moments or their variety shows.
