Wow, looking good! 2 layers of 10mm plywood on the bottom will certainly make a very strong bottom. Is that part of the plans to double it up there or your own precaution? Great progress.
hi thank you for visiting, The plans say 2 x 10mm ply layers, it is also to create a strong base for the 6x6cm transverse oak or similar beams that the keel bolts to , its a seriously strong little vessel
your construction method is just as strong achieved through a more modern - high tech - spaceframe - girder beam construction using biaxial fabrics etc and so will be lighter but as strong if not stronger - also there is less mass to fight the water and so will move away from forces - I really like watching your videos to see the construction techniques, have a good vacation in Japan, waiting for videos
