Thank you yes prep is essential, but there is a point where enough is good enough, it was fairer than 2 costs of slightly thickened epoxy with fumed silica then wet sanded with 320 grit and slightly detergent water, to get rid of any famine, just in case any was present, then wipe down with a water and sponge, then a quick really light sand of 180 grit, then dust and paint,- I could have done way more fading and sanding but all in all it looks superb
