I have a book from a French academic, a very hard left take on the RAF. It is an airtight, (from that perspective) defense of eveything they did. The book was probably a masters thesis. Author was affiliated with Nanterre university, a bastion of the hard new left (where the CIA color revolution of "Mai 68" began).
