Hi Glenna! I love your Steampunk kerchief and I totally "get" finishing a project and casting on another right away. haha. Your Forestland sweater is gorgeous and I can tell how excited you are about it. I still am so happy with my Humulus, wearing it almost every day in the mornings. I also finished my Ranunculus and want to make another one! I've just cast on a Versal sweater by Ailbiano McLochlainn to experience a Susie Myers-type, top-down, contiguous construction with beautiful saddle shoulder shaping--all seamless. So far, it's just beautiful. But now you inspired me to look at Jennifer Steingass' designs and I am very drawn to several of them. And right now, they are 50% off on Ravelry, so there's that! Congratulations on your writing achievement, very happy for you. I'm also glad to hear that you are thriving as a member of your fiber arts group and are deriving so much pleasure from the variety of yarn-ey things you are doing. Take care and enjoy life. P.S. I almost forgot: I made my first-ever pair of socks. I was so amazed and thrilled during the making (it seems a bit magical, how they go from round tubes to actual socks with a heel and toe!)

@@knottygiraffe Ha ha. I bought three Steingass patterns! When you look for the Versal, it's with an "L" not an "I." I don't want to steer you wrong. It is named from combining the words Versatile and Universal=Versal. Love me a good wordplay. Plus, you get two patterns, one sized for men and one for women.
