The eleventh episode of the series describes the information horizon interview, (IHI, for short) a diagrammatic elicitation method created by Dr. Diane Sonnenwald. It is the only original visual research method to emerge from my own field of Information Science. The IHI is a way to visually document all the information resources and information behaviours perceived by a person in any given context. Below are references to Sonnenwald’s major writings on the IHI; notable extensions by information scientists; and my own relevant publications.
