In this final episode of our “JERUSALEM: From Genesis to Jesus” series, TV Host, Jeff Futers (Executive Director of First Century Foundations) visits Yad Vashem, Israel’s Holocaust memorial museum in Jerusalem. Joined by Tour Guide, Isaac Karasenti, Jeff walks through the garden honouring the righteous among the nations who helped the Jewish people in their desperate time of need. Jeff and Isaac then visit the graves on Mount Herzl to learn about the sacrifices Israel continues to have to make in order to exist in the Promised Land. Throughout this episode, the incredible way in which followers of Jesus around the world have turned toward Israel and the Jewish people in modern history is explored, and Christians around the world are summoned to turn their hearts toward Israel and pray for the peace of Jerusalem as the Bible commands.

In 1985 First Century Foundations (formerly ‘Operation Outreach’) was founded by Rev. Clyde and Marion Williamson and birthed out of prayer and a burning desire to bless the land and people of Israel through the love of God. Since then, the organization has grown to include teaching believers about the Hebraic roots of Christianity, expanding this message to digital media and reaching out to those who do not yet know Christ. In 2020, the vision was enlarged again and First Century Foundations USA was launched to bring the same challenge for prayer and blessing the land and people of Israel to partners in the United States.
