This is the first in a series of podcasts where I discuss my new book, Regenerative Soil, with soil experts from a diversity of backgrounds and perspectives - these were previously recorded while I was writing and finalizing the book which is in the final formatting and review stages of its release. How did those experiments result? by the way did you understand the copper experiment mentioned here or the link to it and how it worked?

Ages ago, in Organic Gardening Magazine, someone wrote about transplanting nursery trees. Their tip was to not move the tree until you had marked magnetic north with a string or yarn. When placing the tree in its new home, turn the tree so it is oriented back to magnetic north again. Then the tree will live.

If that were a significant factor then only 10 percent or less of randomly transplanted trees would survive

Here in windy Arizona I try to face it how it feels most comfortable with a wind blowing from the SW So branches are oriented to comfortably blow around yet not break or be shading each other .how do I want it to look in 20 years or long after I'm gone.... If that makes sense. But would like any more info on the magnetic north hypothesis. ✌️💚🍉

the plant and the soil give rise to each other and you and i do. this manganese thing. Kempf interviewed Dr. David C. Johnson of NMSU. he is all over youtube - manganese and iron, 2 of the most difficult minerals to come by because of oxidation as noted by John Kempf in i think the bionutrient food association webinar, are through the roof, up to +1000% increase, with the use of his bioreactor compost that is dominated by fungi...

Matt, what does that shoe box in the dark copper experiment really translates to and how can i apply it to, say, a plant living in an understory of tall trees so it makes more photosynthesis?

that experiment last mentioned - no sunlight etc. was the opening act of the Arden Andersen's book Anatomy of Life and Energy in Agriculture

Wow the synchronicity! Just today decided to make a compost tea and for the past couple hours I've been researching that stuff. Then just thought about biochar, so searched for vids on that. Found this channel and this video just came out with like the past 24 hours.

The compulsive need to be right is learned from past probably family learning connections.set yourself free, sometimes the best way to move forward is not to be always right although you might be.they or them must have had their boot on your neck for a very long time. Keep up the good work of like saving the WORLD!
