The reason why a large portion of crochet designers do not list exact placement of eyes is because when working a spiral pattern your rounds twist and tensions play a part. In the past I have noticed even when they tell you where to place them it is out of whack and you note that. The pattern would to be closed rounds with a slot and a ch(s) to start the next round. The reason the direction of crocheting the cat ears on was not mentioned is it would be incorrect for left handed crocheting. Back in the early 70's when I was taught to crochet, there we very few patterns with images and bibble stitches always listed the # of loops. I think everyone wings it currently when writing patterns. The loaf pup is super cute❤. Will have to try that one.

Hi Cassie! Great video, as usual! 😊. Another tip I’ve learned to get that crisp color change delineation, is either adding a round of slip stitches (loosely) in the BLO (first) then a/next round of SC (I THINK in both loops)…I’ve seen several RU-vidrs demonstrate it and have worked a couple of patterns where it works GORGEOUSLY if I remember to keep those SLST’s loooose, lol.
