I only took music classes at Taft for a year, and I'll tell you it's a beautiful campus! and actual students were super nice and welcoming to an outsider- and they initiated me into the tradition of rubbing tafts nose- and yes even us who were like.."ancillary" students rubbed old tafts nose.
I live in Watertown right next to the school and I’m going to their summer program this summer. Every person I’ve met there are great people and many are just working class citizen’s kids. NOT ONE WERE SNODDY!
The funny thing about all of these schools (and they are beautiful, high tech, classy, whatever) is that once any of these students steps foot on the campus of Brown, Brandeis, or whatever other douchelord, prestigious Northeast university they get accepted into, from Day 1 they are nobodys. Back to square one kids.

Sure I’m originally from Swarthmore, Pennsylvania. I went to two boarding schools in Pennsylvania, the Church Farm School for a year then I went to Westtown for 3 three years and graduated from there. then I went to undergrad in Pennsylvania where I majored in Theatre. I went to grad school in England, then I was a professional actor for 13 years, now I own two companies. I have a German Shepherd and a 5 year old. Add me on PSN, let’s squad up. 👊

@@WsttwnConcernedAlum more than anything, i'm a fan of your passion for boarding school culture at large, and how you express that passion when discussing different school features. imo, since you have a unique positioning as having experienced this culture first-hand + had time post-grad to really reflect on the experience to see what parts of it still influence your thinking today, i think i'd be most interested in the subjective thoughts you can share, that many other school reviewers couldn't. like what parts of the social experience were challenging for you, what overlapping themes you've noticed with your past classmates' backgrounds influencing what they're up to now, how your school experience influenced your perspective on wealth, etc. but then again, i'm sure most people check out your content for objective school facts to help them pick a school, so i think i might be in the minority with my content preference. but regardless, this looks like an awesome project idea with a solid following already, so i'm excited for you and where you'll take the channel. good luck!!
