I've got an older, single Hobie AI and I've long wondered about adding flexible PV panels and an efficient motor. Kudos to you two! What if you could add a few more solar panels and even the sail was one big flexible PV panel?? Could you have enough excess power to store some away in efficient lithium batteries for continued night cruising? Keep innovating!! And have fun!
Tower makes a 14ft inflatable SUP that holds 700lbs...thats what I thought you were using since it looks identical but I was wrong. I easily take 500lbs out, its true to that weight. Max load was 3 people, 1 led battery, and a trolling motor lol and that was without stabilizers...
Hahahhaha I think so too but on a serious note, its not the size, I think I lack the critical skills and experience so night be better to stick to a smaller kayak until I have the right foundation.
