Kristina Inrig works in sustainability, philanthropy, and impact investing. She is the Founder and President of the Sustainable Capacity Foundation.
Kristina has also worked extensively in the environmental and philanthropic sectors providing support for capacity-building and networking. As the Executive Director of Sustainable Eastern Ontario, her main non-profit roles have included networking, partnership development, fundraising, NGO management, and governance. Kristina was the founding Coordinator of the National Capital Environmental Non-profit Network (NCENN) and several social enterprises within the Eastern Ontario sustainability movement. Kristina is also the past Program Director of Greening Sacred Spaces, a national environmental program of Faith & the Common Good.
Kristina has served on several philanthropic boards and committees in addition to her work at the Sustainable Capacity Foundation. She volunteers with her husband at the Inrig Family Foundation. Kristina serves on the Invest Committee and the Impact Investment Sub-Committee of the Laidlaw Foundation. She has also volunteered with the Ontario Trillium Foundation, TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, and the Ottawa Community Foundation as a sustainability grant reviewer.
Erik Pervin is a non-profit leader with a background in environmental protection. He blends his passion for the environment with his experience in non-profit finances to help empower small shop nonprofits. A founding board member of GreenBooks, he has been supporting the financial growth and building the capacity of environmental organizations for close to 5 years. Erik is also an outdoor adventure guide, bringing people of all ages and abilities into the wilderness to inspire them to protect the land around them. Erik is currently working towards his designation as a certified Payroll Compliance Practitioner with the National Payroll Institute.
Sam Laprade - Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), Fundraising Strategist, Radio show host
Sam, CFRE is our incredible host. In her professional work, she provides non-profit organizations proven strategies to reach their fundraising goals. Through speaking engagements at international, national or local conferences, she shares her experiences to further spread best practices and the message of philanthropy.
