so I have a question. I see online CST positions but do LPNs qualify for the position as well? I only ask because it says "CST/LPN positions", are available. I have my LPN but I am curious about a CST position but I also want to pursue my RN as well, I am currently working as a MT because the hospital I work for doesn't hire LPNs but they do hire CSTs. I haven't applied because I plan on going back to school with their tuition reimbursement program that they offer, but if I get a CST job as an LPN do I have to sign on as a CST for two years? Do I need to further my education more to pursue a CST position? I have my license but it's only going to take me a year to get my RN, and I can't afford to leave because nursing school cost too much to pay out of pocket.

do you by chance have any videos on what its like dealing with dr's or more in depth on how days go? I've heard some people don't like the job because dr's tend to be extremely rude to staff

Hey! I know it's two totally different jobs but do you think a or assistant is a good job? I am currently in housekeeping at a hospital and I'm trying to better myself(employment) I don't know anyone that's a or assistant

Is it true that the surgeon should never have to ask for an instrument? That's what a surgical tech told me when I was inquiring about the day-to-day of the job. It seems unrealistic with the amount of surgeries, instruments and the routines of different surgeons, but maybe you get used to it after years of repetition? Would this be the expectation of a new grad?

I would love to go to school for this but its 31k! & im still paying off my 10k loan for medical assistant as well as my 4k car note. :( they trick u into taking out a loan by telling you you will make it back when u work but when u first start out with no experience you aren’t making much...
