I have noticed the quality of Levis, I'm 63 and have worn them all my life. Over the last few years they just dont hold up. I am a plumber and wear 501 brand. The pre wash usually last only 6 months instead of a year. The dark blue about 15 months, the material is just cheap , even the seam of my jears are thin. The quality is not like it use to be when they were made in America. I pay $88.00 a pair which use to range around 30.00 .
When 501's went to plastic buttons 1990? went to wranglers but they are not the best for work afootback. These days and for about the last twenty it's been Carhart Carpenters britches, they wear very well.. All done with Levi

The quality is gone. Long live to Pakistan and cheap labour and recycled materials. Dont pay more than 60 euros for these Indias no quality trousers. The real Levis is gone. And now you are selling me nostalgia ? Another northamerican brand that went greedy in the last 20 years. And now u are losing customers for selling something 4 times worse, for the same price. What a Levi's discovery.
