Congrats on the Huckberry sponsorship...even if I want to say Huckleberry (Val Kilmer Tombstone clip) in my head. The minutia of this is very entertaining. Especially if somehow everything you described was true but the color was orange? 150 years of people walking around with orange jeans would be wild.. I'll throw my vote into the nonexistent poll and say green would be a good choice if the whole indigo thing didn't work out. Finally, watching Risa and Bahzad wave in the vid was soothing somehow.

Very informative and well produced video, indigo is simply the perfect dye for twill denim. The fades are amazing, its hardy and uv resistant and it simply looks BADASS! I have a pair of black sulfur dyed selvedges but I wear my indigos much more. Keep it up michael you are gonna be a big youtuber one day!!!!

Great content ! but nowadays most denim is made using synthetic dyeing, if it's natural indigo is quite expensive like some Japanese jeans.

Also indigo dye is fire resistant so old Japanese firefighters would wear blue fire resistance suits to rescue people from forest fires.

Also, it's blue because if it were green it would die... *I say, wearing OD Matcha denim*
