In this episode of the Keep Trucking Personal Podcast, host Tyler Kivi sits down with Jordan Duncan, a Driver Recruiter at Kivi Bros. Trucking, to delve into his personal journey and unexpected insights into the world of driver recruitment. Jordan shares his story of growing up in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, where he now works at the company's Operations Center, and how his path led him to Kivi Bros. Trucking after various roles in operations and supply chain management.
Jordan discusses the unique challenges and rewards of recruiting drivers, especially in a digital age where applications are processed online, and conversations are often with individuals from distant states or even countries. He emphasizes the importance of understanding what motivates drivers and matching their needs with the right opportunities at Kivi Bros. Trucking. Jordan also talks about the company’s pet-friendly policies and how they play a crucial role in supporting drivers who consider their pets as essential companions on the road.
In addition to his professional journey, Jordan opens up about his personal life, including his love for motorsports, his ongoing pursuit of a pilot’s license, and his passion for rescuing animals. He shares touching stories about his rescued pets, including a recent stray puppy named Rory, who has become a beloved member of his family. Jordan's experiences highlight the importance of compassion and adaptability, both in his personal life and in his role as a Driver Recruiter.

Hello Bruce. Pay depends on how hard you want to run. We have a lot of drivers who make upwards of 1800-2000 weekly. We also take requests for trucks and accommodate as much as we can with what is available. The best way to get more info is to call our recruiters at 218-625-8451. Jordan or Sharry would be happy to help! Thanks Bruce!
