Love the book marker idea for gifts. Thanks for sharing. I didn't use project bags until I started watching your videos and now I use them for all my knitting projects. It is great to grab and go when I need to. If I am lucky enough to win a project bag either one would be great. I love them both. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos for us, you are an inspiration.
Great program as always. Our local hospital has a cancer ward and takes in hats and scarves for the children in treatment. I wonder if you have a local homeless shelter that needs something like that. Thanks for your program. You have such a joyful spirit. Your love for God shines through.
Hey! I'm knitting my first Musselborough hat and now I understand why you knit so many. I've never knit anything top down before. I love seeing the crown develop. I'm knitting a DK one so hopefully it will fly off needles. I usually am bored with hats. This could be a game changer for me!
Good mornin! Boy! That's a lot of WIPs and they're all so good. I donate baby afghans monthly & it's so satisfying. To be able to use this knitting gift that God gave me to bless others warms my heart. I'm so grateful I'm able to give in this way. Have a wonderful knitty weekend! 🧶
Love all the bags! So cute. I think I like the one with the sayings like, "I Don't Know, Margo!" the best. I'm with everyone else, I don't know how you knit socks so fast. I usually do two at a time on magic loop, but am currently working up a pair on individual 9" circs. Definitely a different vibe, but I think I'm liking it!
I always enjoy seeing what you're working on. I've been working on a blanket for what feels like forever. I may need to make some bookmarks to take a break from the blanket knitting. Thanks for the inspiration every week. God bless!
Love all your projects, so many interesting ones on the go. Love the project bags but my favourite would be the one with the trees & squirrels. No noise heard here so you shouldn’t worry about that. Lots of fun projects.
I love seeing your finished objects and am always impressed on how many you are able to complete. The bags are so so cute. The scrappy hat has me inspired. I have never made that pattern but would like to give it a try.
Haven't been able to do any yarn crafts. I've had hand issues, but I'll get back into it. Just need to listen to the Dr so they will get better quicker. Love your channel. Love your enthusiasm.
Good Morning Kayla! I just love all the projects! The hats will definitely keep someone warm and cozy whoever the recipients are! I crocheted a couple cup cookies this summer, I would like to knit a couple now as well. Thank you so much for sharing and have a blessed day!
I think I am going to start making bookmarks to include with my kids' teachers holiday gifts. Such a great idea. Now that my daughter is in high school, I have a lot more gifting to do. Thanks so much for sharing your makes and your reads.
Hi Kayla. Always enjoy your podcasts so much. Thanks for letting us know about the sock blockers. I always wondered if you really needed the blockers after knitting your socks. So glad to know they are not necessary but simply optional. Thanks for all you do! Have a blessed day! Love the Little Full bag but both are adorable and would be happy with either.
I just discovered you and have been binge watching while working on a pair of socks from a book that I have to return to the library. So now I have another total must watch each week! Thanks!
Lovely podcast today and I loved all the socks you showed us today! Amazing output! I’ve just finished a lovely scrappy pair for Scrappy Sunday knitting! Loved the bags you showed too and really can’t pick a favourite. As for the background building noise you mentioned - I didn’t hear a thing!
I love the hat! Loving all the bags. I am going to look up the bookmark patterns and get some done for Christmas gifts. I don't mind if they aren't starched. I like the floppy. The scrappy hat is awesome. I can't wait to make one myself.
Thank you for a wonderful episode! Love all the socks. So much inspiration😍 If I am one of the lucky winners, I especially love the one with the Christmas trees, but they are both adorable🎵💖
I love your videos. You finish socks so quickly. Bags, bags and more bags, ❤ them all. My hubby calls me a bag lady because you really need a different one depending on the yarns personality.
Another nice visit, Kay. :) I'm thinking I might make a few of the bookmarks to leave on my Church's bookshelf. I immediately thought of my daughter when you held up the Margot and Todd bag. She'd LOVE it!
Good Morning Kayla! Always look forward to seeing what you have been crafting in the past week. Love the bag with Todd and Margo. Beautiful projects as always. See you next week!
Yay! Some knitting and a podcast after a long day of prepping for family is just what I needed! Thank you for another amazing episode!! Im loving the scrappy Musselburgh, it's turning out so pretty!!!
I did a video a couple months back on a full cup cozie, I use it all the time for both hot and cold, I love it. I downloaded the bookmark pattern and charted out some designs on graph paper I could put on them like a cross ✝️ and Christmas 🎄 just by reversing the stitch to create the shape.
Oh my goodness…Christmas vacation bags😂…one of our favorite movies! I love the “I don’t know Margo” bag… it’s just awesome…I love how you’re using your passion of crafts to share with your community!
I just got into knitting because I’m left handed and never thought I could, but I’m obsessed! Your vanilla sock pattern was the first I used! I watch Christmas vacation every Christmas Eve!!
It's always nice to catch up with you when I have a moment to sit down and breathe and knit and relax. It feels too early for Christmas but that's probably because I'm late to the Halloween vibes, I just cast on my spooky season sweater while watching this LOL (eh, it's just plain black, it'll be in style all year but fits my mood right now for spook). Anyway, would love either bag so if I win, please let the other winner choose which they prefer. Have a great one!
I love these project bags. They are so Christmasy and so clever. Last week I bought one from a company that you showed on a podcast and I am in love with it. Thank you.❤
Good morning😊. I look forward to your weekly podcast! It takes me at least 3 weeks to finish a pair of socks. They are always colorwork patterns. You inspire me!
Thanks for another fun episode! That scrappy hat is great. You’ve inspired me to make an advent hat to match a cowl I made a few years back. I have so much leftover yarn and a matchy scrappy hat would be perfect! The bags are amazing - Christmas Vacation is one of our family staple movies.
Good Morning Kayla, as allways love to do my morning knitting while watching your podcast. I too have made some hats and stocked pile them to be donated this season. Love the making and sharing them! ❤ Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Oh my! The Christmas Vacation bags are awesome! I watch this movie all year long, the Todd and Margo bag would be my favorite. Those Oct yarnable socks are amazing!!
Love the bag with the Christmas trees. I love how you just give away your projects. I too get the question “ who are you making that for””. If I say I don’t have anyone in mind - would you like it. I almost always get a YES!!
Always so inspiring!!! Ive started a pair of Find The Joy Socks. I knitted a pair when the pattern first came out and because of the familiarity it seems somewhat easier.
Thank you for inspiring me once again. I have started to knit while walking on my treadmill and I seem to get so much more done. I'm knitting on my Musselburgh hat when walking.
Oh boy do I know how loud roof work is. We had a new roof put on last year and the noise entertained the little ones at the preschool across the street. The owner said she made a lesson out of it counting how many workers were running around our roof. Sounded like 100 from inside our house-yikes! Such fun projects you showed today. Seeing your finished socks has kick started me into getting Christmas sock knitting done....2 pairs down and 4 to go. Not bad at all!
I have made quite a few musselburgh hats but never a scrappy one. Love that idea. I’ll be making one for sure. The mountain state stitches bags are great. I really like the one with the Christmas trees!
Those hats are really cute...super pattern for donating. So sad that Danielle is closing her shop, but we all need to do what's best for us. I'm sooo happy to have been able to get the one I wanted when she opened up today! ❤
Hello! Both of those bags are cute, but I'd love the one with trees. Just a thought on your reading... I feel like you'd love Jenny Colgan books. I love them and they are such relaxing warm reads while knitting or driving. Thanks so much for sharing your making with us!
Just started and finished my first bookmark after seeing you make them! They look complicated but they are surprisingly fast to do, thanks for sharing! :)
I love your channel. I am late in life to sock making after a 35 year sewing gap. I am now on my third pair of vanilla socks using your pattern. Both have are lovely but the one with the Christmas trees is definitely my favourite one.
Your scrappy hat is so fun! What a good way to use up extra bits of yarn! Those Christmas bags are perfect, love Christmas Vacation it's such a classic!
Those bags are fantastic!!! I absolutely love this month's yarn able!! I did a little pop of bright green at the top of the cuff and will use it on the toes too. I'm just crazy about this color way!
They look so great!! I’m so behind in my sock knitting plans 🫣. I know what I’m doing this weekend! Can’t wait to see how your scrappy projects come out!
I just love watching you. I'm tuned in every week. I need another project bag in my life. I only have 1. ALL of your socks are amazing I love the colors. Stay safe and be blessed 🫂
Hi friends, hope y'all are doing good and well. Kayla, the scrappy musselburgh hat looks so fun to knit and wear, I bet. Thanks for sharing your WIPs and FO's. so inspiring. I'm going to try and get some book markers done. Thanks for giving us an opportunity to win a project bag, they're both cute. Have a blessed weekend and week everyone.
I'm on my second pair of socks and am using your magic loop tutorial. I am finding this so much easier than dpns. Your tutorial is excellent - thank you so much for sharing. 🥰
You’re so adventurous with your scrappy Musselburgh! I love both of the sayings on the Christmas Vacation bags from Midwest stitches, but I love the look of the one with the trees better!
