Linda, it is so funny that your Tucker also destroys the toys! Cocoa left one of her Christmas toys in tact to play with. Isn't that strange that she would destroy two (took one hour each) and then she is playing with the third one. Oh well, at least she kept one to enjoy longer. LOL. I think it is precious that Baxter protects the toy from Tucker. Sounds like they bring you a lot of joy! We love our fur babies. Dena

Kaylin, I was happy to hear you plan on continuing working on Tis the Season in January. You are so right, it will inspire you to see all the progress you made during Advent. Cocoa sends her love. Dena

Cathleen, busy is the word for sure. I started four new starts on January 1st! Started Spring Quaker for WIPGO, started a Coastal Ornament for BRINGO, started Oh, Tomato as a Sampler SAL with Donna, and started the first 12 Days of Christmas berries by Erica Michaels for an ornament SAL with Donna, and others. So, this month has gotten off to a fast start and I loved every minute of it. Wishing you a wonderful year of crafting! Dena

Kanday, Donna and I started a new sampler at midnight on December 31st! We did not stay up to help another time zone, but I went to bed about 1:30 a.m. and Donna said she was up until 2:30 so we could have. LOL. Happy Stitching in 2024! Dena

Carolyn, yes it was so much fun! We will have to stitch together again soon. This month will be one of the busiest months for me in stitching that I have had in awhile because of BRINGO, BINGO (local group) and WIPGO; plus all the acrostics! But I am enjoying it very much! Dena

Candra, you are so right about the crazy call month with BRINGO and WIPGO and another BINGO that I participate in. (Not to mention the acrostics). But on Jan 1st I had four new starts! One for WIPGO, one for BRINGO, one for a Sampler SAL and one for an Ornament SAL. WHEW! I met the WIPGO call yesterday already, so only one left for January and it can wait until after all the BRINGO and BINGO calls since they end on the 25th. Hope your New Year's Day was fabulous! I have started four new starts on the 1st of Jan. the first was for WIPGO, the 2nd was for a Sampler SAL I am stitching with my friend Donna, the 3rd was for BRINGO and the last one was for an Ornament SAL with friends Donna, Dee and Lori. Such great fun. I tried to put in about 300 stitches on each. What a wonderful New Year's Day for me. Dena

Lori, what a day it has been! Took down the Christmas decorations today. SAD. But, started four new starts! One is a WIPGO call (Spring Quaker), One is a BRINGO call, (Coastal Ornament for friend), One is my Sampler SAL with Donna (Oh Tomato) and the last is the Ornament for the Ornament SAL with you, Dee and Donna et al. (First berry of the 12 Days of Christmas Berries by Erica Michael). They are all started with at least a few stitches in them. Now I must stitch my BINGO call with the North Alabama group, 13th Colony. I also saw where Daily 30 posted their Monthly Challenge, the Acrostic "January 1st. " I have selected my projects for that and since 13th Colony has a 1 in the title I will stretch my stitches from 100 (BINGO) to 300 (for Daily 30 Acrostic). WHEW! @@halfstitchcrossstitch2456 oh my goodness you are on a roll. All I did was start a new start for #3 Bringo Blessings be thine by Blackbird. It also happens to be my WIPGO call this month! That's all I stitched on. Waiting for the next number to be called for tomorrow! Tomorrow I start babysitting again. Today was quiet but I got to stitch so I am a Happy camper!

Awesome to hear you will be starting Alpine Seasons in the near future. I realized just how much I liked swapping projects every couple of days when I was working on WIPs at the end of the year and spent up to 3 days on one project. Sounds like we have similar stitching styles. Dena

Debra, I can share some with you for sure! I felt just like that the last week of December after finishing all the prompts for that month. But I did set some goals and get some good end of year stitches into several long term WIPs. Should make finishing them easier this year (2024)! Dena

Kathyn, the trip is only a 2.5 hour drive. I think a variety of projects is exactly right for 2024! I started four new ones on January 1st. Just happened that one was a WIPGO call for January, one was a Sampler SAL with my friend Donna, One was a BRINGO call and one was an ornament SAL with multiple friends. I guess that bodes well for me and new starts in 2024. LOL. Dena

Valerie, I am so sorry to hear about your husband's cancer diagnosis. I pray it is treatable and he will fully recover, but I know the journey may be hard and long. A full coverage piece sounds like the right thing to help you get through this period of time. God bless you both. Dena

Debbie, I haven't mentioned it yet, thanks for the reminder! She loved it. My sister said that when she opened it, she exclaimed two of my favorite things together! She put it next to her lift chair on her table and said it will live there all year. (LOLOLOL). Then she actually told my sister, "I hope you get one like this too." It was almost a Nanna, nanny, boo boo kind of statement. Cracked my sister up! Dena
