Crystal, thanks so much for the compliment on my Spring Quilt. I love the amount of detail in a Stoney Creek pattern. That lace table cloth was my mom's so it is very special. JT is doing great. He moved last November to a new town which is 5 hours away from us so we don't get to visit like we used to. However, he calls me every week. Carolyn, thank you so much for the compliment on Spring Quilt. I have kitted up Summer Quilt to start at some point. I had planned on starting 40 new starts this year, however, I have already started several I hadn't planned so I need to count now and figure out where the total will be as of now if I don't add any more unplanned starts. Yes, it has been an adjustment for JT to move so far away, but he is so happy that it makes it all good. We talk every week in fact he called last night, so I get to chat with him as often as I did, just not see him. It will be good for him though. BTW, I have the same Chatelaine you are stitching. Mine has been in time out for over 2 years. I guess I need to give it some love sometime soon. LOL. Dena

Linda, oh my yes, Cocoa's bark is big and it scares people when they come to the door for a delivery, etc. She sounds like she would be a force to be reckoned with, but I don't think she would ever bite. Maybe if she felt my hubby was in danger. I have seen her put herself between him and an aggressive dog once and I was impressed! Dena

Angie, it is the style of the motifs. I believe it started with a group of people (perhaps in Pennsylvania), but I'm not certain of where. Anyway, all Quaker patterns have those individual symmetrical motifs. Dena
