We take a dirt backroad from south of Manzanar into the north entrance to Alabama Hills where we take in the amazing sights of Mt. Whitney and explore the terrain the area has to offer. We check out just a few of the more than 400 movie sets from films like Iron Man, Tremors and How the west was won. We find an amazing camp sight that provides a front row seat to an amazing sunset in the shadows of Mt. Whitney. We hike through beautiful blooming desert cactus and flowers, climb up to check out The Eye of Alabama, and discover some little hidden oddities.
So come along for the fun as we check out Alabama Hills for the very first time.
