Tyreek being a 2,000 yard receiver helps no one. We gotta spread the ball around this year especially now that we have a Tight end and a legitimate 3rd WR in OBJ.

I agree that Brian Heartline, Eric Decker and Jordy Nelson were about the same time or slightly after Wes Welker but.... What about former Dever Broncos Pro Bowl WR Ed McCaffrey who had 3 straight 1000 yard seasons in the late 90's early 2000's and won 3 Super Bowls. Someone else in the comments had already brought up Don Beebe Joe Jurevicius played a decade in the NFL and won a Super Bowl with Tampa Bay Matt Jones was a first round pick(#21) by Jacksonville and ran 4.38 in the 40 at the combine with a 39 inch vertical jump Ricky Prohel played 17 seasons in the NFL and won the Super Bowl with the "Greatest Show on Turf" Kevin Curtis(2007), Brandon Stokley (2004), Patrick Jeffers(1999), Drew Bennett(2004), Bill Schroeder(1999), Mike Furrey (2006) all had 1000 yard seasons in that time frame.

We are still looking at alot of dollar store players this year. If anything, the defense is a wash to last years and that's only because I like the inside LB's better and I think subtracting X was a good idea at this point. The oline is the same, so we are still.goimg to have time protection issues. If Brewer is a busy, then we are in trouble. His size, which Omar said was SMALL, is a troubling sign. And he's only the ad 1 year at Center. Let's hope Calais still has some gas in the engine

I personally think that the country club program has to be playing a part in why we see so many injuries, it’s hard to callus the body to contact when there is no contact until game day when everyone is going at 110% every play. It just does not seem logical to stop contact to me.

The more teams that sign there QB long term the less market there is for TUA . Dolphins are playing chess.
@mauricedrew9544
@mauricedrew9544 Месяц назад
Okay, both y’all are crazy. The market is the market, fair or overly inflated. Second, every quarterback benefits and looks better when surrounded by talent. Josh Allen was almost a bust until Diggs. Burrow immediately had Higgins and Chase. Lastly, what’s the alternative if he leaves? Start again with a new quarterback who’s going to require, want the same market salary? Lose Tua, draft again and rebuild? You have your quarterback of the future. Get a deal done and focus on maximizing that new investment
@JmacMAC
@JmacMAC Месяц назад
If I remember right, Nebraska beat one of those feared Miami teams in the 1995 National championship game! That Miami team had Ray Lewis and Tremain Mack on the defense. Both of them and 6 others would go on to play in the NFL. That was an old smash mouth game there!
@Gray_Bush
@Gray_Bush Месяц назад
Considering Dak amd Tua are the only viable, potential FA options for 2025, and the 2025 QB draft class looks unimpressive, it's easy to see a team bidding up on both of those players. If you look at teams that are in current need, or potentially need a QB come next year, it's short sided to not get Tua's deal done. Even if it matches or beats Trevor Lawrence. Are you really willing to risk the 2025 roster over a few million?
@fruitstrong5977
@fruitstrong5977 Месяц назад
Tua is NOT going to give. Did you guys NOT hear Tua say that he can't seperate business and personal? This is personal. And it should be because it's DISRESPECTFUL for what he's done and endured for the Dolphins There is NO EAY that Tua is under center Week 1 vs the Jags and Trevor Lawrence, without a contract when Trevor Lawrence is 20-30 and Tua is 32-19. Not happening. Which would mean Mike White or Skylar and the season would be over before it started. Tua has the leverage and Will Not Blink. It's Personal.

I don’t agree with Poup that the past two yrs have been slowly focused on Tyreek. Yr 1. Waddle almost 1400 yards, Mostert 900 yards Yr2 Waddle over a 1000 yards, Mostert and Achane almost 2000 yards if Achane wasn’t injured

@alldolphinspodcast
@alldolphinspodcast Месяц назад
Randy, nobody ever said the late-season was on collapse, but the truth is he was more part of the problem than part of the solution. And putting 100% of the collapse on injuries is a stretch IMO.
@coreymcbride8689

In defense of Cam Cameron. It was a weak draft class. The Dolphins needed a QB. Name a qb in that draft class that was better than Beck. They were riddled with injuries starting with a solid veteran Trent Green. This threw a developmental qb on the road against a ferocious Giants defense. Ted Ginn was getting abused by the media the fans and his team mates for being drafted number 9. By the end of the season they were pulling guys off the couch to start on Sundays because of so many injuries. As a looong time Dolphins fan I believe the Florida media and fans have been terribly unfair to Cam Cameron and Ted Ginn. Adam Gase and Joe Philbin had much more and were way worse coaches!
@yearlymandonothack
@yearlymandonothack Месяц назад
Oh I didn't know Cam Cameron was commenting on the All Dolphins podcast... How are you coach? How is the family? Honestly, coach you were obnoxious and I couldn't wait for you to get fired.
@coreymcbride8689
@coreymcbride8689 Месяц назад
@@yearlymandonothack That’s a good one..The Ginn family did have a 14 year NFL career and started in two superbowl, which is 2 more than Brady Quin started games. Although I do understand when a guys personality is obnoxious because that’s what I think of current coach Mike McDaniels. I won’t let that get in the way of our genius, slow play calling, never win a challenge, pass happy, teenager personality coach though, there might be enough talent on this roster to overcome him..
@rthompson624
@rthompson624 Месяц назад
How come nobody has the balls to say Tua doesn't deserve a new contract? He needs to prove he can play well against good teams. Keep him under his current contract. He doesn't deserve anything more. Be smart, or this team is going to be cash strapped with a poor quarterback for the next 5 years. It is negligent to sign him to big money.
@melvinrussell2084
