Time consuming, but it will look well when finished. Just a thought, looking back at the table saw episode. You could build the saw into your work bench at some stage. If you were to cut a section from the edge at some suitable point, the dimensions of the saw top and construct a frame of 2X3" timber with locking castors.Remove the saw from the legs and screw onto the frame. Make it the same height as your bench top and you would have lots of out feed for sheet material. Drop the blade into the body and remove the riving knife, (the lad behind the blade) when you arn't using the saw and you still have the whole flat surface of the bench. There are a lot of videos on You Tube on how to construct the frame.
Hi Loki That is a sound idea however the workshop is not mine i only use this when it's vacant the large table is used for canopy making in front of that is a mini in process of being restored in front of that is a large ride on mower that has to be left clear for the owner. The other side of the workshop which is around the same size has a dune buggy restoration project and storage owned by another person so very limited work space inside hence large sheet cutting has to be done outside kin good weather
