Steve Holden is joined by one of the hosts of the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam: Nikkie de Jager (aka NikkieTutorials). Nikkie shares her memories of hosting the show, doing make-up with Måneskin, her favourite Eurovision songs... and much more.

I love Nikkie! I love that she wore the trans colors in her dresses. I remember watching her interviews, and the make up session with Maneskin! I'm in the US, so I'm thrilled they've blown up here too!

It's a bit strange to draw a firm line against imperialist warmongery when it affects Europe, but not against genocidal lunacy under the guise of self-preservation. That Israel still gets to be represented is a sham and travesty. The ESC has never been apolitical, and even if it were, the act of doing and saying nothing when you could do otherwise is STILL a display of value judgment, in this case a morally questionable one.

The same old privilege for the Netherlands, no matter how they bash and mock other European countries, especially the southern ones. The poor Dutch witnessed the victory of an Italian artist in their land and their livers are still on fire. No more mafia, pizza, short kings and EU debts. That was harsh.
