They already had questions prior and they had more questions throughout the entire thing. Yes it would have been better if they allowed him to say more but there'd be unanswered questions. In respect to your valid point about the energy and vibe carried out I'm sure you were aware as to how this episode is unlike any other episode that they have ever made.
