I went to school with Gugulethu “Berita” at John Tallach Secondary (now High) School, she’s such a beautiful lady and so graceful and i’m super proud of her.

Good things are coming her & Nota's way. I once had a girl similar to Berita(She prays for you, she wants you to be at peace, puts your feelings first etc). A similar situation happened, I started off sane, and sound, supportive, loving, and willing to go the extra mile for my girl, doing everything I could. But one traumatic experience awakened memories, past traumas & feelings of animosity & resentment towards the people around me, especially those I love & lookout for the most. It almost felt like they owed me all the stuff I sacrificed for them. It felt like my family owed me the life dreams I abandoned for their sake, like my girl opportunities I missed way back in high school that would've gotten me where I wanted to be, my friends felt like intruders, etc & etc. It felt like me Vs the world, but really was just me Vs myself. Long story short, I became someone synonymous to a bipolar patient, and my wake up call was when I realized that she couldn't save me but also didn't want to leave, I saw that she was either gonna drown with me or save me, but how could I let her drown with me?.,,, I had tried writing her letters explaining all these things but I'd just go in circles so I just blurted out the words that were gonna push her away...hoping to one day anonymously explain better,. then things ended between us. I went through the most all the healing I needed, turned over a new leaf, got to understand why I was acting the way I was that way & broke everything down and was able to rebuild my psychological state......I finally got the peace she wanted for me, but the only way she could give it to me was to sacrifice our relationship, it seemed like a lose-lose situation back then but its always been a win-win. Last time we spoke she had graduated with flying colors in BOTH the things I told her to hold on to when I told her to let go of me.... read that line again. Bottom line is, I'm happy for her, I know she's happy for me and great things are happening for the both of us. Forever proud & grateful for all we had, Ama-zing!!!!

Got so much to say about this interview. 1. I'm surprised she's aware of her prettiness, she really is. 2. She's very eloquent, extremely classy. 3. I find her similar to me in a lot of ways.

Because Mqhele loves ice cream and he is toxic like Nota.

Berita featured Hugh Masekela and Oliver Mtukidzi on her song called Mwana waamai. What a great gift to receive as an artist. Not many get the chance to feature one, let alone TWO legends on their productions. Sadly, the two legends would later pass away exactly one year apart.
