Hi folks,
This weeks vid encompasses a couple of our day trips to San Diego over the last week or so. We leave Emerald Village tomorrow. Our final act will be preparing brunch for the whole community. KC has just returned from Wall Mart with all the food!
We're really going to miss this place, well perhaps not so much the place, more the people. They have really welcomed us as one of their own and we'll definitely be staying in touch with many of them. That question that we are constantly asking ourselves as to which is more important, people or place is easily answered during these short visits. It's undoubtedly people. Without warm hearted, generous souls this experience would be pretty miserable for us. Place is nothing if you can't find fellow humans to connect with. That might be a different answer for those looking for long term community but for us when visiting communities in the short term people are everything.
We're spending a night in an RV park on our way down to Tucson Arizona and our next community Stone Curves. It's going to be a real contrast to the much smaller community here because Stone Curves has 42 houses. Fingers crossed we meet some fellow humans that have been as welcoming as those here at EVO.
