EPISODE 47 - WE ALOMST ENDED THE PODCAST 

Chy is hesitant to leave her other job and I see why - Winter is unstable and the fact you could threaten to stop the podcast is a red flag. Chy don’t quit ur job!!

I’m not flying 12 hours to sit in a room mad & I’m definitely not chasing after a grown ass woman who can’t effectively communicate or control her emotions. Chy did her part by sending whatever message & she ain’t respond. Yes it was her birthday, but if you taking your time and resources away from your everyday life, make sure it’s worth it. Go out & enjoy yourself.

Two things can be true: Winter should have communicated about how she was feeling sad and embarrassed instead of running off and expecting to be chased AND Chy & them should have done more to check on Winter and made sure she was having a good time on her birthday. I think both parties could’ve handled the situation differently.

everyone’s trying to pick sides but genuinely the whole situation was wrong! Leaving your friend in a foreign country and wanting people to chase or be a mind reader, are all wrong!!communication is key to a great relationship ( platonic or romantic).

Winter loves saying she don’t remember saying that but is quick to remember everything someone else does 😑

I think it’s dramatic and draining to go on international trips with people who get emotional and want to run off. If you are feeling a way, communicate it, you’re grown. I’m sure they would have left with you (whether they wanted to or not). Putting someone in that ultimatum situation like “my night is ruined so I wanna ruin yours so come with me” is toxic. Seems like you expect people to chase you..

If this podcast and friendship ends, it will be whole heartedly because of winter. I don’t like how she handles situations with her friends and especially chy.

Winter went about it so immaturely. Yes it’s your birthday but you decided to leave knowing would be alone and then expected your friends to run after you after you randomly leave. You can’t manipulate the situation like that and not everyone has to do what expect to do. She definitely tries to control the situation.

I honestly think Winter’s ego and “crisis” ruined her own birthday. If you know you’re in a foreign country, why would you as a grown woman leave by yourself? Winter is old enough to communicate and it’s sad that her friends have to take the fall for her dramatics. I also think, poor Chy, she has to agree with Winter in some form in order to move on or “make things okay.” I honestly think the pod/friendship will end at some point. Probably so draining for Chy.

So, I don’t agree with “it’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to” anymore. I think if people show up to celebrate you, you make the best of it, especially if they’ve traveled 12 hrs to do so. I definitely understand Winter feeling a little down in the moment, but you’re still out there with your best friends who love you, make the most of it and don’t put a damper on everyone’s night. It sounds like Winter kind of threw a tantrum and didn’t communicate effectively how she was feeling, but still expected everyone to just be on the same page she was. Yes, it’s your birthday, but you still have to be considerate of everyone else. Alternatively though, “Irish goodbyer” or not, they definitely should have made sure she was okay after she left.

I feel like Chy has to “bite down” on how she feels a lot because of Winter’s reaction or response. Sometimes I feel like Chy is a guest and this is “Winters Show”. You have to be careful with friends like winter sometimes because she immediately takes everything personal or feels attacked. Just cause you dont agree, does not mean something dosent need to be discussed! Your friends are not your man. Love you both!

No hate, just an observation. This is the first episode that made me realize Wintrr really needs counselling. Several podcasts stories elude to problematic behaviour. But after listening to Chy’s mom speak on the quality of Chy’s friendships and seeing how understanding Chy can be vs. Wintrr constantly talking about her small circle and willingness to cut anyone off at the drop of a hat, it’s concerning. I see a slight victim mentality in the way she explains her stories and how she reacts to things. She constantly talks about being attacked on the internet, people disliking her etc, so she will likely always be defensive when conflict arises. I hope this trip doesn’t cause your friendship to spiral downwards.

Winter has a lot of unhealthy ethics when it comes to navigating and addressing her emotions. And that’s the simple truth! Unfortunately when you friends with women like her, it’s bound to just not work and your no one’s teacher in life

Winter, please take this birthday as a moment of growing the fuck up. Respecfully. 1. Winter seems like a high maintenance friend which can be draining cause in most situations it be like “me, me, me”. So I totally understand where Chy is coming from, winter needs a lot of growing up to do, she couldn’t even see Chys perspective on it which is crazy as she’s a grown woman. This story sounds like something you go through when you’re a teenager or early 20s.

Winter is an adult and she decided to leave alone, since she was the only one who thought the club was dry. However, I’m also the mother of my group of friends and when one leaves I’m leaving with them and being transparent about it. I can see both sides, but im ultimately proud of you two women talking it out because that’s not worth risking your amazing friendship. I too have friends with different personalities so it only gets better when working out your differences💗 also going to your show, can’t wait!

Winter still seems really mad about this, but at the end of the day you are in control of your own reality. She ruined her own birthday, and wants to blame it on others. You coulda made the best out of the situation (like her friends did) but she chose to end and ruin her night. this right here is why i have a love hate perspective of winter. she talks from experience and sounds so accountable and teachable but then she says and does things that contradict that notion. we aren’t all perfect people and id never hold anyone to that but for me it’s the attitude. don’t say things like idgaf, idc, it’s over, i don’t wanna talk about it etc. if it’s clearly still affecting you so deeply. speak on what you feel so you aren’t playing mind games with the people who care about you. the “idgaf” attitude never adds up to the sweet sensitive side everyone in winters close circle talks about.

What’s ridiculous about the birthday thing is that winter says she always leaves without saying anything. So this time she was crying and not feeling good… then left. She didn’t let her friends know how she felt AND STILL EXPECTED them to follow her to check on her? Can’t be mad at your friends bc you don’t know how to ask them for help. Instead you cry about it and leave to hope they’ll follow you. Chy even texted, but you didn’t reply clearly bc you feel some way that she didn’t follow you out.

Chy is not wrong. They all paid their own way to go the trip. Why would I go home to sulk with you at the apartment over NOTHING when we came out here for a good time? They’re drinking alcohol feeling good what did she expect? Please be fr. Wintrr has issues and she’s stubborn she’ll lose everyone in her life before she simply does the work and she may not realize this before it’s too late. This woman 31 years old and she wants her friends to chase her down and be her therapist because of her own insecurities with her age or with no one being there whatever the case. Chy is better than me cause I’d have no patience for this victim mentality. Wintrr is always the common denominator in these situations she literally puts herself in this shit cause she loves the drama.

Winter, you definitely have the right to feel and express your feelings. Just remember that emotions are temporary, don’t let them leave a permanent mark. Focus on the facts, for example: you know Chy would never intentionally abandon you. Take a deep breath and allow these emotions to pass through you. This is something a therapist taught me. Winter you are lucky to still have these amazing friends who support you and still love you. From watching your podcast and seeing some of your personal content there is most def some toxic behaviors that you must work on. These friends accept you for who you are. It is a little sad that they think you walking away is normal. They are so used to that toxic behavior of yours that they are just like "ehhh whatever it's normal". Chy you are such a good friend. You are very understanding and you are aware of others feelings. You take accountability and that is AWSOME!
