EPISODE 5: Cleaning the Most Disgusting Interior EVER!
Oh yes my viewers, this interior was just flat out disgusting and poor Jill had to clean it. We did get a steamer to help get the car clean as well as sterile. Jill has a cleaning background and is quite good at it.

She used the Borax in the cabin as 2nd washdown to get anything left behind as Borax will kill mold and BLEACH WILL NOT! The ENTIRE decklid and trunk area was done in straight borax and water solution. It was the worst because it had the MOST standing water, in fact, before she even cleaned it, there was STILL standing water from when we picked up the car! OH MY GOSH!
In the first round of cleaning, she used LA Awesome because it literally will clean any sticky, greasy nastiness without leaving it on for a long period of time. It was pretty much a wipe and go. For the worst parts we used the steamer. That was a Godsend in its own right. We then used the borax solution to wipe down the cabin again to get any mold that may have been left behind as LA Awesome is NOT a mold killer - but I also included rubbing alcohol in my water mix to help.
The first clean was just a degrease/de-stick/and trash out the car, the second clean was to sterilize it. We will be painting the interior so any paint that flaked off during the steamer will be painted over. This doesn't have to look pretty - it just has to be coated to keep anymore rust from happening. Remember - this IS NOT A SHOW CAR but a rally car. :)
