Welcome to 1Five1 Garage. Jill and I are a couple who share the enjoyment & excitement of anything automotive. We support each other in every decision we make, even when it comes to anything automotive. The good, bad, & the REALLY bad. She needs to rethink supporting some of the really bad decisions I have.
Our current automotive collection consists of 3 2021 Ford Broncos (yes 3... don't ask), 2012 Ford F350, 2014 Toyota 4Runner, and a 1952 Rat Rod, named Susan, and enjoy every minute of it.
In the videos, you will see us work on the vehicles, products we use, & the decision-making process, or lack thereof, as we go through for completing those tasks.
Future automotive purchases are: Track Car for SCCA

Get Sr performance lower springs they are not much less than $150 new and it lowers the car and level out the back and it changes the handling of the car alot better corners and braking.....I have a 06 V6 myself that I have done all the mods to....also a positive trac unit and 373 gears is another big upgrade......
We have to find a replacement rim for the damaged one and a second seat. We also have to install the interior. Lastly get the connections needed for the lights on the passenger side.
Those headlights were not bad to begin with. Cerakote claims permanent restoration , lmbo, 95% of my customers applied this product to their headlights and then called me for a professional restoration. You need to add a disclaimer. Good Day.
My dad bought a 2005 4.0 Mustang back last summer, it was a totaled/salvage title and was in a front-end collision(And some rearend and engine wear). He was planning to restore it and make it his baby. We both made a list of stuff that we needed and other neat stuff. But he never got to start the restoration... because of cancer and passed last New years Eve... So I've been trying to do it myself. I just did my first start up and run a few days ago! Its always exciting to see your work come to life! 💪But my wallet is screaming at me for sure😂
Sorry to hear that. Jill is a cancer survivor and building this as a rally car was something she wanted to do. She is doing more and more of the work as we go. Something the smiles I get from her doing the things herself is worth the every penny spent. Good luck and we wish you the best.
Use a plastic eraser to remove the residue. I parked mine in the sun and stuck a plastic prybar under it I use for this stuff, it popped off, no residue.
Thank you very much for sharing with us how to solve this hehehe!! I hate it too, every time I go out with the key in my pocket, my 2024 Ford Explorer does this. Another thing that I can't understand, I configure it so it doesn't turn off when I stop at a traffic light, for example, when I turn off the car everything goes back to the way it was before, do you know if there's a way I can change that? and very boring too.
This is so far the best video! do you know if I Can buy a vehicule with a Clean title on my name? Im from Alabama, and according to the List I can get it from Mississipi, will they give a clean title without license? im just like you, I dont belive anyone until I have it in my hands, so, I trust you LOL
Yes. some states allow you to buy a vehicle with no license. Copart will not allow you to even bit on a vehicle unless you meet the requirements needed. if you do buy one be ready to pick it up. they have a short timeline before they start charging storage fees.
I’m 3 years late to the party… how do you guys like your broncos now? Did you ever swap headlights/grill on them? Was wondering if that was pretty idiot proof for a non-mechanic like me. I’m torn between a badlands and black diamond. Both Sasquatch. The options I’d be missing out on in the BD seem minimal. Not doing and hard core off-roading, but would take it in the dirt occasionally.
Welcome to the party. We actually have 3 total. Wife's Badlands, my Black Diamond and the Dog's Big Bend (yes they have there own). We love them. Currently Driving the BD more to put some miles on it. We have videos on pretty much the removal of everything inside and out. grill removal ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5oXD8zbLsiE.html headlights ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jP9bNwunTrw.html
@@1Five1Garage Nice! Thank you. I’ve sub’d. I’m picking up my Badlands tomorrow. It’s a 2 door in white, which wasn’t my first choice, but I’m kick in around the idea of a dark gray matte vinyl wrap? Who knows. Cheers!
My top doesn't come off just because of my setup with the roof rack so this video helped me decide this won't work for me. That little micro space you showed for the bolt is a no for me without taking off the top. Thanks for the vid!
Just used this product and the results were fantastic....it is as advertised..my local auto zone and parts store didn't carry this product, shame on them, there loss.
Not making a big deal at all. Just identifying what people need to look into when buying a car from Copart. We knew what might be wrong. We watched a bunch of vides about buying a car from an salvage auction but none had the answers to the questions we had. So we made our own. Is that a problem for you?
Read the Experian history, and drop 35 bucks for a condition report before you do ANYTHING. If you're close to a Copart lot that has the vehicle you want, I highly advise you to go visit the lot and LOOK at the vehicle, yourself! Bring a FIX'D sensor or an OBD device to run codes, too. I bought a 2011 Jeep Patriot from Copart. When I got it, I found that the subframe was totally rusted out ($3000 to replace), and as I began cleaning it out, I found rust ALL AROUND the bottom parts of the doors and tire wells. I suspect that was from flood damage. It's at a salvage yard, now... dead from a cataclysmic electrical failure. Copart is great to get a whip on the cheap, but do your homework FIRST!
I’ve been trying to buy my old salvaged vehicle from co part and for sure there’s damage in the undercarriage like a cracked oil pan haven’t seen the car since is it worth trying to buy back also with the airbags deployed
I sold my 2005 Camry to copart. It was a clean looking car. I sold it because my son hit a curb and bent the front passenger wheel inward. You would never know that it is damaged unless you saw it in person. I hope the buyer uses it for scrap because fixing is more expensive than it is worth.
They do high definition pictures when you click on the picture look in the bottom right corner it says HD in a blue circle click it and it makes the picture high definition
