Thanks for making the video. I'm buying a slapshot for this year. Need to vaccinate and deworm my pigs. Last year did it with a regular needle and syringe and it was one of the most nerve wracking things I ever did.
I really appreciate the information you have on your channel. This is our first year with pigs, and the slap shot really really helped with the worming medication. Thank you so much, and keep up the good work!
arjaygee 50 we are on a schedule right now of three videos a week. Monday and Wednesday are shorter videos and Friday is a longer episode. They go live at 4:30pm eastern time (12:30 UTC)
With all your cheap timber, have you considered building a race, or a crush yard, or some structure so they can't get away? Even sneaking into their sleeping quarters after dark, if that wouldn't panic them - but a race is traditional. If you angle the sides to suit, it could be narrow enough at floor level to handle these weaners and still be wide enough at adult belly height for pigs ready for freezer camp. I always preferred a tubeless vaccinator for my goats - there's no wastage in a tube, just the pillow pack of vaccine mounted directly onto the vaccine gun. But there was no way they were running away before I was finished with them.
Very good videos you put out. Worming the easy way! At least you’ll never get worms😂Thanks for the information as the wife and I have some land and think we want to raise pigs “on pasture “🌈😃🤙
