Falkor my Dodge Ram Roadtrek has had some upgrades this week mechanically. I think I'll feel a bit safer now driving him across Canada! What do you think? better?
Fill the tank and note the mileage drive 60 miles or so and fill again divide the miles driven by the gallons used for the mpg. You can use this to determine when you need to buy gas. I don’t know where you plan to put a gas can but inside the van is not a good idea. Looks good with all your work and the service you are having done before you leave is great. Also a propane tank inside that is not in a sealed compartment and vented to the outside can leak and cause death. The dodge vans of that vintage are great vans.
Bartender:: "Pour me somethin' tall an' strong Make it a "Hurricane" before I go insane It's only half-past twelve but I don't care It's five o'clock somewhere" ~Alan Jackson ~ So cool!! looks great all washed and new tires! you made a great choice. following your progress!. great little camper. btw can't you just buy an aftermarket fuel gauge and just wire it in , and stick it on the dash???
