In this episode I put some lipstick on a 190,000 mile LS3. Should add 50HP's easily. I also did some upgrades to make this beauty stop and I improve the ride with some new shocks. Fuel cell is in and the radiator is close!
Wow a lot of work but worth it. I'll be getting me a 69 Chevy van soon, so I'm saving this video for reference to to learn something. I like the re-modifications you've done and will probably do more. Good work and can't wait to see it when mostly done.
Still havent been able to figure out how to put in the wiring harness in my 65. So I found out mine has an 8 pin headlight switch. And I think mine is for an after market light switch. Which isnt even a 7 pin. The directions look nothing like my switch.
The entire wiring schematic for these vans fits on one page... super simple!.... Reach out at VCVC.org or vintage-vans.com and somebody will email you a schematic....Mine's 69 or I'd send it to you (69 is different)
There is a guy in Sacramento that does a disc brake conversion for your van using the factory hubs and a manual Corvette disc/drum master cylinder. Best upgrade you will do.
