I am so sorry I missed this I would have loved to have called in and told some Lee-Ann Stories. She was such an amazing woman and so much more than just the owner of the Lizzie B&B. She was a long-haul truck driver for years even though she was a tiny lady proving that she was tougher than many knew. She was also Frank-N-Furter for a touring Rocky Horror group...So many stories. I will miss her every day.
Very nice tribute show. Wow, her death really did come out of nowhere. It bugged me. I wonder what the stories might have been during the pandemic when Lee-ann was there by herself. I would have loved to have read her memoires of being the owner and curator. She did good. If your staff and guests actually love what you've done, then you've done a great job. I suspect that the Bordens appreciated her stewardship of their home and stories, also. She'll always be part of the history of this property. I did not know her, but I will miss seeing her.
I stayed 5 nights there at the Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast from May 12th to the 17th. I barely missed her. Well...as with the Bordens I will have to wait until the next life. She is on my to see list.
