Nice first day. I hadn't seen the diagonal steps cheese before, thats a handy tip for making life just a little bit simpler until getting to two block parkour. Sounds like a tough challenge, good luck!
I think I heard the devs themselves refer to this style of map as the layer cake style of map back when they were doing the preview streams, so I thought Layer Cake Challenge was appropriate :)
I have that same issue with my mouse as well. I thought it was just my potato computer lagging, but it's doing it to you, too. I've had it not move, then move too much, then not move again. It's annoying.
trying this one myself, only trouble i'm having is my generation settings are the same as yours but i'm getting pine forest layer 2nd and wasteland 1st, trying a few re-gens to see if it's a bit random.
still hard to get used to new branding. still trying that 60minute day playing (all default). day 13 and got minibike (finally). strenght nd agility mains almost maxed so its shotgun, handgun, clubs and knifes this time.

Everyone has always called me Two-Five and the old name was just a bit rubbish and had too many syllables. Also I was bored of the old logo. So I decided just to freshen it up to call the channel what people already call me. That's all, nothing major, I just wanted to :) There's a community post about it too as I didn't want to just do it unannounced but unfortunately not everyone sees those!
