Hi mate, great video. I have a quick question if you could answer please. I have seen some epoxy flake applications where they heavily sprinkle the flakes and then brush off the excess flakes. My question is, in that type of an application how long after spreading the flakes should I brush off the excess flakes.

I feels kind of counter intuitive to apply a coat epoxy paint on a already dry coat of epoxy. I am under the impression that epoxy doesn't bond well with second coat.

I haven´t seen all of your videos but if you have not already I would suggest doing a video series about absolutely non-toxic alternatives, some of the environmental friendly stuff with zero emission. By the way, your video about the razor sharp lines with frogtape was just the right amount of advertisement.. Showing people how to use "frogtape" but also saying that with a little more effort it can be done with the cheaper stuff is a fair way. People who can afford it will likely tend to buy the more expensive frogtape for convenience and people on a tight budget can buy cheaper without feeling the necessity to do otherwise. Hey Chris get your self some epoxy spiked shoes it allows you to walk on the epoxy without creating holes and your broadcast will always be more successful

I see other companies saying that if you hear the roller then you don't have enough epoxy. I am looking at this product so do you have thoughts on this? Sherwin Williams said 1 coat, but you like 2 coats? 24 hour in between coats? Is the sqft on the cans right or are you buying more than the manufacture states?

Im in the midwest and get cold winters. At what point do you stop epoxy floors because of temperature?

My garage already has an old coat of paint on the concrete. No chips or big cracks. Should I rent a concrete sander from a Home Depot and give it a heavy sand or light sand? Or just apply a stripper? Thanks for your help!

Ok, I have a few questions... but first I want you to know that after several months of searching the internet... {I'm redoing my grandmas hoarded house by myself} you are the only person that explained it in detail, without missing anything. Thank God for you. I did my floor sample first and what I did is instead of adding a metallic enhancer, I used mineral makeup. Dragons Eye eyeshadow. Amazing how perfect it came out. Beautiful. But since I'm getting ready to do the actual floor, I'm a little nervous. My questions are ... Is epoxy floor paint the same thing as what you did by mixing the epoxy with the color? And did you have to put down a bonding primer first? You are awesome. Awaiting your response.. Shannon

Could you help me please? Previous owner painted garage with color and H&C oil based concrete sealer. He didn’t do great job. Some areas are dry and some are wet look. It’s fairly new he did it one week before he sold house to me. No cars were driven yet. My question is: what can I do now to fix it? Could I use clear epoxy to make it more even and make more shine? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

Bro I been kinda scared to do epoxy just cause of the cleats and all the a and b stuff and especially the price of it, no room for errors, I use this process for painting garage floors , except clients have had me use oil base just cause epoxy is super expensive, they come out really nice , but I wanna do epoxy cause of course it last for ever if done properly.. but good job on the videos ,thanks always a pleasure to watch , 👍 keep up the great job... also cau u epoxy a drive way ? you have better traction on wet ice with sneakers than spiked shoes on the epoxy. im with you on the no spiked shoes, and working as you go👍

Do you use the EXACT same product for the topcoat but this time not diluted by thinner? What is the open time as well? I find some epoxies you have to work fairly quickly and get the floor coated in 30 mins or so as the epoxy begins hardening in the tray making it more sticky.

Hey Chris, I've generally been nervous doing epoxy because one of the 1st times I used it it gummed up on me. Why would that have happened. Also with commercial grade epoxy does the concrete need to be at a particular temp?

What's the logic behind not going all the way to the expansion joint where the garage ends and driveway begins? Is it for aesthetic reasons only since some of the epoxy coating will be visible from outside next to the garage door?

HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT OF CROSS ROLLING? JUST A SIMPLE QUESTION.NORMALLY THOUGHT YJE FLECK WENT ON BEFORE THE CLEAR COAT. I NORMALY PUT IT ON ON YOP OF THE TOP COAT TO ADHERE TO WET SURFACES. BUT THEN AGAIN THATS HOW I ROLL IM SURE THIE GUY HAS HIS REASONS.
