Heyyyy lovelies, the final video in my ocean themed series before I move on to cosy. In this video I am creating oceans inside sea shells. Miniature oceans inside Scallop shells to be exact. Creating and ocean inside a shell is something I have wanted to try for so long however I am not so great at inside oceans. Preferring the freedom of flat resin work. I hope you enjoy.

**Please note** there are tech issues at the 13 minute mark. The sound cuts out. Of course when I did the original edit this was not the case. So, somewhere in the process I made an error. The silence is quite beautiful though. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I have some scallop shells and smaller shells found on my beach walks and wanted to give something like this ago, this video has given me more inspiration to give them a go. I have some of that piñata rainbow alcohol ink thought I might try that for the surf! Thanks so much for this video

I get my best results in tiny waves using a white pigment paste on the end of a cocktail stick, dropping in a few drops of 99% isopropyl alcohol, and then using a bit of clear resin and blowing it with a straw.

UV resin that way you can make it as wavy as you like paint the foam dome then a clear resin on top. That way you can have ruff waves gentle waves 👍🏻

G'day Claire. You have done a gorgeous job there. Ive been doing resin beaches since the start of the year and enclosed beach scenes are def tricky as the white will go to the edge and then push back in. Im in Australia but the best way I have found is to leave the white mixed resin till 10min before its pot life is due so it and the poured colours are thicker. I have my industrial heat gun on the LOWEST heat setting but HIGH fan setting and use the "wedding cake" concentrator nozzle not the "platypus" one you used. There is a video on my channel (Im a quiet youtuber LOL) if you care to look. You are doing amazing though hun

The farther out you go into the ocean, the whitecaps are moving outward and closer to the beach side, the whitecaps flow in the opposite direction. I've noticed that virtually no one does that. If you try making the white go in opposite directions, will you let us see, please? I like these very much and now, I know what to do with my shells! This was a fun video, Claire. Thank you.

When I make my ocean/beach coaster I blow the white away from the ocean. It feathers quite well.

It’s beautiful. Maybe if the wave consistency was thinner and the actual wave lines were also thinner. Could the white be applied with a pipette or even with a syringe? Although it might be very hard to clean a syringe afterwards.,

What would it be like if youblow the white in the opposite direction or on the top of a tacky clear coat I don't know but your so good at figuring it out also I think maybe the shells would look nice on the edge of the piece
