Epoxy - Which setup do I like and why... Gorilla or Loctite...

You can use small Silicone muffin cups to mix the glue in and when it dries just pop it out, no wasting cups. Do the same with your mixing station.

Good instructions but hated the glue in the loctite in the end. OK if you push it out all at once. Or push put all you need at the time but a min or so later and all the glue cures in the tube so can't use. Was trying to use it for a project on a mirror which takes a while. Got two nozzles with it. First one cured in the tube in just over a min. 2nd attempt, I'd spot the glue then suck it all back out the tube into the syringe in hope it would stop it curing in the tube. It lasted for amount a min more till it also all cured in the tube. Gave up and getting something else.

I've found the self mixing VERY useful since it makes for less of a mess. You always lose epoxy while mixing in a cup anyway, so it honestly doesn't bother me for how clean and convenient it is.

I use that loctite to build subwoofers, many people do, it has a penetrating effect before it hardens, it has proven better than the gorilla glue in other testing and is my favorite, the mixing tubes waste is minimal, it puts it were it needs to go in subwoofer applications, just my thoughts..

It’s common sense when you push the it comes out then when you’re done reverse the process then what remains on the tube goes back then seal it with provided seal

For the wasted epoxy issue-Can you unscrew the needle head, turn the syringes upside down and pull the stopper out a little so air fills the top near the hole, then push the air through the needle head so the epoxy in the needle comes out?

How is it that the Loctite epoxy didn’t hold the little hanger on the back of the frame? I find that a little hard believe when white Elmer’s glue would probably do that.

I just purchased Locktite hoping to hear a good review lol... But when you explained the use, surely you could mix Locktite the same way you did the Gorilla one? Would you say they are both good as far as adhesive goes? Can you use outside in cold temperatures ? thanks! :)

they come out in equal portions if you push evenly sure you have to mix it the old antiquated method but seriously if you couldnt figure that out out the shit down! Btw who uses those mixing tips that isn't aware you can buy them by the dozen anyway???
