What is that great line from Wizard of OZ by the Cowardly Lion I do believe in spooks I do believe in spooks!!!! Well I do believe in spooks after visiting Greystone Mansion!!!! 👻
Hey! I love that you want the shirt. That’s so cool. We had them made for the show and only have two. Very high budget production! I’m glad you noticed; you’re the first to comment about them!
Thank you for this. I just did a video about the mansion and I could feel it was haunted from the first time I went. I'm very sensitive to spirit. The story of the ranger being trapped inside makes sense. Often spirit will try to show you, or have you feel, what they feel. So if a spirit is trapped in the mansion, that's what they wanted the ranger to experience. I wonder if it's Ned, Hugh or someone else?????
It's a good point you bring up. Spirits often do make you feel what they felt OR still feeling in the after life. Not sure which spirit was responsible in this case but for sure they are there and making themselves known! Thank you for watching!
What a cool channel to stumble upon! I first visited Greystone Mansion last weekend and once I got up there, I was getting lightheaded and anxiety. Then this man walking around with his family seemed very uncomfortable by me, so I left with a plan to return the next day. Unfortunately, the next day was LA Marathon and Doheny was just blocked for me to enjoy walking up en route to. Finally, I returned yesterday and it was raining. I had the opportunity to experience Greystone Mansion and it was a ghoulish setting. Rain and fog. Once, I decided to leave, as I was walking down Loma Vista to go back home, the sun came out for good as the cloudy, moody, ghoulish day that I experienced a few hours prior immediately changed.
No surprise there! It's beautiful and yet can be ominous. Lots of paranormal activity happens both day and night. Glad you had a chance to visit. We appreciate you checking out our episodes. Thank you! Clete
Thanks Di! We really have a lot of fun with the material. This place has an amazing story! Yes, I agree, Bill’s music, Amber and Smoke, is perfect. Great song!
I am a family historian for over 60 years and over the years learned I am an "empath" and have a gift - as do my children. I think of a gift as something nice but do not think of this as that - not all the time but believe me, do NOT judge people - I believe mine comes from my Dad's Mother's celtic ancestry. I have subscribed - thank you for sharing.
I totally understand. I have friends that are able to connect with spirits and some don't feel it to be a "gift." But there are those who have told me they view their abilities as a gift and feel it is a special part of who they are!
Hello I never experienced anything or believe in anything like that until I went to the Greystone . Literally saw a men walking next to me by the pool house. Then disappeared just like that. I did not get scared it just bothered me so much for a few months kept going back to see if I can see it again.
Hello this happened January 11 2016 it’s was a Monday morning around 10:30 It’s was cold rainy morning. I was the only one in the parking lot when I got there . When I got to the pool area went inside the arch area sat down one of the benches the closest one by the first arch then I turn right saw 1 door turn left saw another door . I was like I wonder what’s in there. I thought it was a rest room . So I get up start walking to the door closest to me right side. As soon as I put my had on the knob try to turn it on my side profile I see a human some one walked by . My first reaction I let go of the knob I thought it was the security. So I was like Good mor…. The person walk by first arch but never saw him walk by the second arch just disappeared I walk out by the pool and nothing. I was like I know I saw someone. But it was not a shadow or see through it was a person . I try to reenact what I did. I was there like for 45 minutes trying to figure it out what was that. Again it bothers me so much I kept going several times that year .I even went on January 9 2017 same time same weather but nothing . I’m the kind of person that I always say there is always an explanation for this kind of things .
Clete & Chris! You guys looks awesome 😎. I miss working with you guys and sharing my stories to you guys. And To this day i still share my spooky stories to friends and family. I'm looking forward to the next episode. And it would be great to walk the mansion again with you. Remember i got the gift 😉
I've been hearing stories about the house from my Dad for years but he said it was too scary to visit. Also love the historical background and information. In addition I like both of your personalities and presentation of the show.
@@PatrickBornstein-lt5rf Thank you Patrick! We appreciate the comment. It is a bit scary, but fascinating nonetheless. Thanks for the support. If you know anyone who is a believer (we are telling the truth) turn them onto us. We are doing 20 shows. 👻👻
Thank you for this! I am writing a story about a bunch of little vampire girls coming to the US in 1962, and I have their powerful vampire patron and host owning Greystone Mansion at that time. To write the scene that takes place there I must be able to describe the house inside and out. Episode by episode you two are taking me inside...
Thank you very much. That was our idea, aside from the paranormal stories, was to take the audience through the mansion so they feel they too have been inside.
David Garrard, Mr. Sane Parks Dept. professional, is such a fitting person to be the first voice in the podcast opening sequence, just happening to know how regular and skeptical he can be! Love the beginning with the big black bird and its shadow diving across the mansion facade, with the gorgeous soundscape playing. Appreciate the initial summary of the gripping history. The closing music makes so much sense after hearing the family's history, especially Ed Doheny's story. Such an unforgettable place. Thank you Brothers for bringing it to life again, including all of its previous lives...
Thanks Karen. We are happy you like it. I didn't think about it but yes, David is perfect to start the intro dialogue! Bill's song, Amber and Smoke, is PERFECT for these podcasts. He is a gifted artist. Thanks again for listening!
