I thought was going to be much more difficult. Thanks so much for the video it was quite clear and easy to follow. Soooo glad to be saving $$ on archival ink.
The chips are not reset because of ink. The controller chip resets the OEM chip underneath it at regular intervals. You can not force it to reset. Check the instructions on the product page!
The Epson 3800 gives a ink cartridge error message - replace ink cartridge for the brand new full refillable cartridge placed in the printer for the first time.

Thank you for your video. 12 years after, how do these cartidges stand the test of time ? Do they prove durable ? Do you still sell them ? Thank you and kind regards
Thanks for the tutorial :) I have a question: In Taiwan, the 3800 printer is named 3850; will the chip reset module still work in this case? BTW I can't use QTR due to this naming problem .. Thanks so much :)
Question.... There HAS to be some kind of liquid solvent or solution to place in the syringes and squeeze thru the needles so they can be cleaned and re-used. I refuse to believe this cannot be managed. The constant replacement due to 1 time usage of the syringes and needles almost defeats to reason I use this ink in the first place. Can you make a suggestion on this ???
Just use plain tap water and you can clean them as long as you do not let the syringe and needles dry out. Finish the clean with a little distilled if your tap water does not have an attached purifier.
