Epson 5030UB: Deeper blacks, bright whites and still a great value

Am hesitating between the 5020UB 1080p(550$) Vs the 5040 UB 4k (1000$) as a second hand is the 5040 makes that huge difference or just noticed by someone has experience with the projectors? My budget is a bit tight so if the 5040 is a game changer i may try to get the unit. Thank you good man 👍

I bought an optoma short throw projector to use with my ps3 a while back and after a few months it started getting white spots on it. After that never again will I get a projector. Better to get a larger tv for home. TVs work way better in lit rooms.
