Hi Vincent, I know it's an old video but did you ever do a review of this projector and it's settings. I looked but couldn't find anything on your channel about setting this projector up properly
I have this projector and would be grateful for you to do a full test for best picture settings as I have mine set to bright cinema for normal bluray discs and bright cinema for 4k ultra hd discs. Thanks for your great videos you are the best on youtube
ok no your set up is all wrong for the 9300 ok natural for blu ray as this is the best closest setting to rec709 the only way u can properly see 4k is in digital cinema as this has a special; lens in side the projector to alow 4k bt2020 hdr bright cinema is not the correct setting also check u have the new update as 09 as this has bright hdr and u can set it when in digital cinema because it used to go to hdr 2 which was to dark so new update changed it it bright hdr its much better hope this helps i also do calibration but each 9300 is different slightly but i have some settings you can try as it looks amazing in natural
There have been many different attempts by professional calibrators to calibrate HDR for projectors but most seem to fail. In your next video could you elaborate on how you calibrate HDR for projectors? The Epson is very flexible in the sense that you can make your own gamma curve which seems to be key for HDR. Here is the best attempt to do this on this projector www.avsforum.com/forum/68-digital-projectors-under-3-000-usd-msrp/2563857-official-epson-5040ub-6040ub-owners-thread-241.html#post52228017 . I'd be very interested in your opinion on the best way to do HDR on this projector or projectors in general. You seem to be really on top on all of this. Thanks for your good videos!
Hey! I just bought the 9400 connected to my AVR and i have the frame interpolation option available on PS4 source but it is greyed out when i pass to Apple tv source. Why is that? Tks for your help
please answer! I have same projektor and i notice that when i go to color uniformity 1/8 settings it looks like left side of the screen was slightly darker?
Thanx for your informativ videos. This my set up tw9300/oppo 203. Looking gorward to see your settings for HDR and if you use or if you use metadate settup from the oppo? Can’t wait. Keep up the great work!
Hi thanks for your video. I just brought a new Epson Tw 9400 it would be great if you would do a video on the best settings for the new 9400 we don’t have calibration professional were I live in Australia
Cd Noony hi , I have an oppo 203 4K Player what Blu-ray 4K played do you have as settings in the player will also impact on your projector e.g. Sony have a projector setting in their 4K Blu-ray player. I hi set the image in Hants meant to 3 which helps sharpen up the picture on and I have the cinema setting at either natural or cinema, What size screen do you have as this also impacts on the brightness 100”. The projector we have easily recover 150 inches without any issues on brightness
at Zimba: I have the USA Epson 5040 Ube wireless projector for about 1 year now. Excellent projector. The only one I have owned so far but all pictures are really good. Spectrum (old Charter) only has a 1080I broadcast picture and it looks super good on my fairly small 84 in Elite lumina wall screen. Blue ray and 4k Blue ray are as good as movie theatres. The settings on the projector vary for every viewer you basically just change them a little until you get what you like. I can't afford the 3d glasses yet so I have not tried any movies in 3d format . Just my 2 cents. Very quiet running but super hot on the front left side for lamp heat exhaust. Rod D.
sorry to be offtopic but does anyone know of a way to log back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb forgot my account password. I love any tips you can give me.
@Mayson Damian thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and Im trying it out atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Hi everyone, In the past I was able to use the 3D with a pair of glasses but something has changed and now I am unable to access 3D setup as it is "Greyed Out". Does anyone have any information to share regarding this issue?
The problem comes from the fact that the HTPC was changed to an INTEL NUC7i3BNH and apparently the Intel NUC´s have a driver issue (not resolved at this moment... maybe never...) that prevents 3D from being correctly presented. The problem was not present with my old nVidia GT210 (512MB) graphics adapter. The NUC is a very nice 4K@60fps -mediacenter, just not for 3D. :( Playing a 3D movie with a Panasonic Bluray-player connected through the same Yamaha-receiver and Projector had no issues at all.
