dude you need OEM epson lamp they all over ebay cheap for older epsons It needs to be Epson on box with Epson seal lots of fakes and generic junk lamps You will know the minute you put it in as it will blow you a way . if it seems less than bright send it back open a Not as described case
well sorry my bad not open to public ,Try ebay and open case if its junk wait 30 days before feedback is givin I got Generic one a while back for $19 works great not as bright but not bad just use on high lamp still working 4 months later . Check Ebay sellers feedback avoid lamp sellers with under 99% feedback
The image won't get washed out easily because this is actually more of a conference room projector than a home theater projector. Arguably it's too bright for home theater use and youu'd probably want to put the lamp on eco-mode in most situations.
